Application Tips and Additional Information
➡️ Masking fluid is required in conjunction with the masks for compound curves. All areas requiring masking fluid are highlighted in blue in the product image.
🌟 Choose Your Material 🌟
This paint mask set is available in your choice of easy-to-apply Oramask 810 flexible vinyl or genuine Tamiya tape.
What's better - vinyl or Tamiya tape? Both work great! Choose vinyl if you plan to use your masks right away and Tamiya tape if you're tackling your project later on. Check out our FAQ for more info!

Product worked well. The window masks could have been slightly larger as there is a small gap not masked. However, I am happy overall and will order another of the same very soon.

Could you let us know which C-47 kit you were working with — and, if possible, send a quick photo or two of the areas that didn’t quite line up? there are enough windows so you can do a C-47 or a DC-3, which has one additional port-side window. The masks are an excellent fit, and as long as I use my reading glasses (I'm getting older), they go right in when handled with tweezers. LOVE these masks!
