Hello to all Kit Masx fans!

Today, I want to share my experience working on a 1/72 scale model of a truly iconic aircraft—the B-36 Peacemaker. This legendary strategic bomber is massive, and the model kit (originally by Monogram, copyrighted in 1980, later reboxed as kit 04632) is equally impressive in size.

Thankfully, Kit Masx has released an outstanding masking set (72-013V) specifically designed for this beast of a plane. The set, made from high-quality Oramask 810 flexible vinyl, is meticulously engineered and comes with three sheets packed with an incredible number of pre-cut parts. Each piece is perfectly designed, clearly labeled, and adheres wonderfully to the model’s surfaces.

The set makes it easy to paint intricate details, including:

> The complex nose and cockpit frames.
> All 10 main landing wheels.
> Circular masks for the rounded windows along the fuselage.

Additionally, the set includes extra small triangular masks as spares, which come in handy if needed. Applying the vinyl masks was straightforward, and the results were fantastic. Thanks to this set, I was able to save time and effort on these tedious parts, allowing me to focus on the next steps of the build with ease.

For its reasonable price and the convenience it offers, I highly recommend Kit Masx’s 72-013V set for anyone building the B-36 Peacemaker. It’s a game-changer for scale modelers tackling such a detailed kit.

Easy to work masks. Great quality. Highly recommended :D

Long out of production the Monogram/Revell B-52 D is one of my favorites, having ready cut masks for the glass is a super time saver for this model.

I have yet to use the mask. I have been going thru my collection and choosing which ones I would like to get.
Looking on your site I was happy to read that the vinyl have a longer shelf life per se than the tape ones .
They look good and accurate and I feel I can now proceed to starting this model.
Will keep you posted.

This clover leaf paint mask was perfectly created by Kevin for the 1/48 TBF Avenger and FM-2 Wildcat. Never having used a paint mask this delicate, I was pleasantly surprised at how smooth the process went. I’ll be using many more of the paint masks on different upcoming projects including a 1/48 B-17F

The vinyl masks are a dream to use. They're accurate, easy to install and then remove after the painting is done.
I heartily recommend the product.

as is well known the P-61 offers a wealth of canopy surfaces, which for someone as ham handed as I am is a scary proposition. However I must say that the masks helped enormously in solving an intractable problem, the quality on Tamiya tape is excellent and the fit is very good as well. So a great job and a solution for a nice looking model.

This was my first attempt at painting markings instead of using decals. I wanted to try it inparticular to fit roundels over colored stripes without any bleed through, which would be hard to avoid with decals. The vinyl masks were easy to use and gave excellent results! KitMasx selection is terrific and delivery was prompt — 5 stars for sure!

Having spent ages trying to cut my own masks for the mind bogglingly complex glazing of the He-119 I gave up and without much hope of finding a pre-cut set I started a web search. To my amazement KitMasx came up with the ONLY set that would fit, so I bought it ASAP!

The set is brilliant, more masks than I actually needed, but spares are always handy, and the model's almost finished now, and with a VERY nicely masked canopy.

I recently took up modeling after several decades, in the meantime things have changed, a lot! But some things remain the same, one of them is the difficulty of painting canopy frames. After trying to make my own masks, a waste of time, I decided to buy some. The results were wonderful and while I still have a way to go I can't commend kit más too highly. The quality in tamiya tape is excellent as is the shape of the masks themselves. Only good words, now I have to experiment with a masking medium for the windshield better than mmask. But that's another story

The mask worked exactly as advertised. I've tried E-Z Mask and Montex Masks but this mask is the best of the three. I have a few more Revell T-6's in my stash. I know where I will be getting canopy masks for those kits.

Delivery was very quick. And the masks fit perfect. I will check kit masx first when looking for canopy masks.

Easy to apply and work well.

The Revell 1/72 B-36 H is one BIG plastic airplane model. The canopies are a tiger to rib paint and really would NOT tackle them without a mask system and "Kit Mask" out of Canada fills that need very well...mask PRIOR to attatching to body of aircraft as there are some very tiny window mask that require a steady hand and good eyes! WEll done KIT MASK !R B
