"Horses Itch" P-51D Mustang Markings
This set includes paint masks to replicate Major Ed Hiro's P-51D Mustang "Horses Itch" main markings in 1/48 scale. It can be used with any P-51D kit. Transfer tape is also included.
Major Ed Hiro was an ace with the 363rd FS and had five victories under his belt before he was sadly killed in action on September 18th, 1944.
PLEASE NOTE: You will still need the small airframe stencils and codes from the decal sheet due to the delicacy and size of some components that do not cut optimally in both vinyl and Tamiya tape.
MATERIAL: This painting mask set is available in your choice of easy-to-apply Oramask 810 flexible vinyl or hybrid (a mix of genuine Tamiya tape and vinyl). A hybrid set is necessary due to the delicacy and size of some components that do not cut optimally in Tamiya Tape and must therefore be provided in vinyl. Refer to the product image for clarity on what components are provided in Tamiya tape and vinyl in this hybrid set.
