This set includes painting masks for the inner and outer canopies, wheels, plus main markings for the Tamiya Grumman F4F-4 Wildcat in 1/48 scale. The main marking masks replace the decals for a more realistic finish. 

Includes transfer tape.

PLEASE NOTE: Due to their size, some small airframe stencils are required from the kit decal sheet as they do not cut optimally in both vinyl and Tamiya tape.

MATERIAL: This set is available in your choice of easy-to-apply Oramask 810 flexible vinyl or a hybrid of genuine Tamiya tape and vinyl. A hybrid set is necessary due to the delicacy and size of some components that do not cut optimally in Tamiya tape. Refer to the product image for clarity on what components are provided in Tamiya tape and vinyl in this hybrid set.

Masking fluid is required in conjunction with the masks for compound curves. All areas requiring masking fluid are highlighted in blue in the product image.

Great service and great product.!!!

It’s always good to find well made, accurate products at a fair price that make this hobby more enjoyable. Even more so, the customer care and service I’ve experienced with Janelle and Kevin puts the positive experience over the top!!! I’ve used two masks from Kit Masx this far and have been pleased with the fit, and the fact that my canopiesha e never looked better.
