Canopy Mask Set

The Canopy Mask Set includes paint masks for the outer canopies and wheels of the Airfix Boulton Paul Defiant Mk.I in 1/72 scale. It will fit all Airfix 2014 and newer BP Defiant Mk.I kits.

MATERIAL: This painting mask set is available in your choice of easy-to-apply Oramask 810 flexible vinyl or genuine Tamiya tape.

Masking fluid is required in conjunction with the masks for compound curves. All areas requiring masking fluid are highlighted in blue in the product image.

Main Markings Set

The Main Markings Set includes paint masks to replicate the main markings for the Airfix BP Defiant Mk.I from the Dogfight Doubles kit in 1/72 scale, but they can be used on any Paul Defiant Mk.I. Transfer tape is also included.

PLEASE NOTE:

Due to their size, the small airframe stencils are required from the kit decal sheet as they do not cut optimally in both vinyl and Tamiya tape (see product image for clarification on what masks are provided).
Extra roundels for the bottom of the wing are included in the set but are not required for this particular scheme.

Why Hybrid?

A hybrid set is necessary due to the delicacy and size of some components that do not cut optimally in Tamiya Tape and must therefore be provided in vinyl. Refer to the product image for clarity on what components are provided in Tamiya tape and vinyl in this hybrid set.
