Product Details: Everything You Need to Know
This set includes paint masks to replicate RAF code letter markings (A-Z) found on British RAF WWII aircraft. It features six complete sets of letters, allowing for multiple applications or builds. Also included are fourteen 2 mm masking strips, ideal for spacing and masking gaps between letters to achieve accurate alignment and consistent results.
👉 Choose Your Size: 18", 20", 22", 24", 30", or 36"
- 18-inch (6.4 mm): Perfect for smaller identifiers, nose art details, or compact codes on fighters and reconnaissance aircraft where space is tight or where secondary markings are required.
- 20-inch (7.1 mm): Great for smaller RAF fighters and early-war aircraft where slightly more visible squadron codes are needed without overpowering the airframe.
- 22-inch (7.8 mm): A versatile mid-size option commonly seen on RAF fighters and light aircraft, offering excellent visibility while maintaining scale accuracy.
- 24-inch (8.5 mm): Ideal for most single-engine fighters and light aircraft.
- 30-inch (10.6 mm): Well-suited for larger fuselage codes on twin-engine aircraft, strike aircraft, and late-war RAF subjects where more prominent markings were used.
- 36-inch (12.7 mm): Best for larger aircraft such as bombers and transport planes, or for prominent fuselage/tail markings.

Transfer tape helps accurately transfer and position masks or decals onto the model's surface, maintaining alignment and design integrity while protecting the mask adhesive. This paint mask set is available in your choice of easy-to-apply Oramask 810 flexible vinyl or genuine Tamiya tape.
What's better - vinyl or Tamiya tape? Both work great! Choose vinyl if you plan to use your masks right away and Tamiya tape if you're tackling your project later on. Check out our FAQ for more info!
