Application Tips and Additional Information
➡️ We include transfer tape with your set! Transfer tape helps accurately transfer and position masks onto the model's surface, maintaining alignment and design integrity while protecting the mask adhesive. This paint mask set is available in your choice of easy-to-apply Oramask 810 flexible vinyl or genuine Tamiya tape.
What's better - vinyl or Tamiya tape? Both work great! Choose vinyl if you plan to use your masks right away and Tamiya tape if you're tackling your project later on. Check out our FAQ for more info!

First, this all started with an email to Kevin asking what might work for a project on the bench, the Airfix RNAS Buccaneer. His response was both prompt and thorough, offering a set that will indeed fill the bill. The price was more than fair, and he tossed in an extra that I would have been happy to pay for! Slow mail from Canada to Minnesota was beyond his control, but the tracking let me know it was coming. They arrived well packaged, in fantastic condition and will make my first attempt at painting on the insignia easy. I am almost at the priming stage, so keep your fingers crossed. They are a wonderful pair to deal with and they provide a fantastic product. If you haven’t tried masking, shoot them an email and get started.

This was my first attempt at painting markings instead of using decals. I wanted to try it inparticular to fit roundels over colored stripes without any bleed through, which would be hard to avoid with decals. The vinyl masks were easy to use and gave excellent results! KitMasx selection is terrific and delivery was prompt — 5 stars for sure!
