This marking set includes precision-cut paint masks for Jimmy Doolittle's Gee Bee R-1 Racer NR2100 "11," including the signature Gee Bee scalloped paint scheme, registration number, and aircraft ID. This set can be used on any 1/32 Gee Bee R-1 Racer. 

ℹ️ We didn't make canopy masks for this kit as the canopy frames can be painted before the clear parts are applied.

The Backstory

In 1932, Jimmy Doolittle strapped himself into the barrel-shaped Gee Bee R-1 Racer - race number “11” - a purpose-built speed machine that looked more engine than airplane. Designed by the Granville Brothers Aircraft to dominate the pylons, the R-1 was as unforgiving as it was fast. That year, Doolittle pushed it to victory at the Thompson Trophy, averaging over 250 mph and cementing both pilot and aircraft as legends of the Golden Age of air racing. Bold, compact, and unmistakable, “11” remains one of the most iconic racers ever to circle a course.
