This set includes paint masks for the outer vac-formed canopies of the resin 1/48 PB4Y-2 Privateer by Lone Star Models.

❗ Note: This mask set was designed using visual references and tailored to fit the supplied vac-formed parts as closely as possible. Due to the limited framework definition on these parts, the masks may not be 100% accurate and could require adjustments based on personal preferences or varying reference materials.

❗ Note: We strongly recommend using vinyl masks for this set. Vinyl’s flexibility makes it especially effective for this particular canopy set, and it offers great adhesion to this type of plastic for crisp lines and minimal (if any) paint bleed.

This paint mask set is available in your choice of easy-to-apply Oramask 810 flexible vinyl or genuine Tamiya tape.

What's better - vinyl or Tamiya tape? Both work great (but vinyl is better for this set). Typically, we recommend vinyl if you plan to use your masks right away and Tamiya tape if you're tackling your project later on. Check out our FAQ for more info!
