This set includes paint masks for the outer canopy frames of the 1/72 Convair PB4Y-2 Privateer by Matchbox and Revell, with additional masks to fit the optional Falcon/Squadron vac-form replacement canopies. Simply choose the masks that match the clear parts you’re using!
❗ Note: This set does not include masks for the front nose port and starboard windows (part # 94). We recommend using masking fluid to cover these clear parts.

Application Tips and Additional Information
➡️ Masking fluid is required in conjunction with the masks for compound curves. All areas requiring masking fluid are highlighted in blue in the product image.

This paint mask set is available in your choice of easy-to-apply Oramask 810 flexible vinyl or genuine Tamiya tape.
What's better - vinyl or Tamiya tape? Both work great! Choose vinyl if you plan to use your masks right away and Tamiya tape if you're tackling your project later on. Check out our FAQ for more info!

Masks for this kit it's kind of tricky to get. Fortunately I came across Kitmasx, they got it and..huh, this product definitely does live up to my expectations. I tried both vinyl Oramask and Tamiya tape, both versions are simply great. It was real fun to work with these products!

I coated the canopy with AK Gauzy glass coat agent , not realising it lifts while removing masks, had a panic, got squadron canopy and kit masx masks, panic over , top marks, great product, the tamiya tape version is as good as anything from Eduard, and they dont do old odd models that I like , so highly recomend kit masx :)

So good to find masks for the oldie but goodie kits (which have not yet been replaced!). Just be aware that if you intend to use the Falcon/Squadron vac canopy sets there is a different Kitmasx set for that, as linked above. I made that mistake (or the vac mask set didn't exist yet when I got mine?). In a saturated market, Kitmasx stands out for selection, quality, and personal service. Buy with confidence and save your modeling time for better things than masking greenhouses.
Haven't used it yet, but I will soon!
