This set includes paint masks to replicate the U.S. Army Air Force fuselage and wing insignia in 1/48 scale. This insignia was typically used on U.S. aircraft during WWII between August 1943 and January 1947.

Application Tips and Additional Information
โก๏ธ We include transfer tape with each set! Transfer tape helps accurately transfer and position masks or decals onto the model's surface, maintaining alignment and design integrity while protecting the mask adhesive. Look for two 3"x6" pieces of transfer tape included with your masks. How to Apply Main Markings Using Transfer Tape
๐ Choose Your Material ๐
Each paint mask set is available in your choice of easy-to-apply Oramask 810 flexible vinyl or genuine Tamiya tape.
What's better - vinyl or Tamiya tape? Both work great! Choose vinyl if you plan to use your masks right away and Tamiya tape if you're tackling your project later on. Check out our FAQ for more info!

Arrived in about a week from ordering, I have only used the mask for the Corsair great masking kit, and a good fit, easy to use with fantastic results.

What I prefer about airbrushing Stars & Bars, or any other similar livery, is that they are not decals. Although decals can look seamless and have a โpainted onโ appearance, thereโs nothing like having proper painted on markings. I have always made my own masks, especially for USAAF Stars & Bars, but was looking for a way to maybe save time on a typically lengthy build.
Used four 45โ (to scale) masks on a 1/48 US Navy F2G-2 Corsair, and the Stars & Bars are absolutely perfect. Tamiya tape masks were straight forward and easy to use and transfer media was included in the set. 5 out of 5 stars on this one!
And as usual, always a pleasure to do business with fellow Canadians Janelle & Kevin. Always quick delivery on all orders, and great value too.
