Application Tips and Additional Information
➡️ Masking fluid is required in conjunction with the masks for compound curves. All areas requiring masking fluid are highlighted in blue in the product image.

This paint mask set is available in your choice of easy-to-apply Oramask 810 flexible vinyl or genuine Tamiya tape.
What's better - vinyl or Tamiya tape? Both work great! Choose vinyl if you plan to use your masks right away and Tamiya tape if you're tackling your project later on. Check out our FAQ for more info!

This set (for a 1/48 Academy TBM) was our first experience with Kit Masx. It's compact, but has masks for all the necessary places and the parts number next to the appropriate mask.
The only dings were the mask are bit challenging to get out of the ziplock bag and the instructions are small. Minor snivels and looking forward to using more of these mask sets.
And I must also mention the super customer service we got placing the order and making a change when I accidentally ordered the 1/72 vice 1/48 set.
Thanks for your feedback, Bryan! We’ll look into adjusting the mask sections to make them easier to remove from the package. The instructions are intentionally small to keep packaging compact and costs down, but they’re always available in the product listing online. Would a downloadable version be helpful for printing? Let us know—we’re always looking to improve!
I have not used it as yet , but it did arrive quickly and in good order!
