This set includes paint masks for the outer canopies and wheels of the 1/72 Dornier Do 217 K, Do 217 K-1, Do 217 K-2, Do 217 M, or Do 217 M-1 by Italeri.
❗ Note: This mask set is best suited for the Do 217 K-1, K-2, and M-1 kits. It will not properly fit the Do 217 E, J, or N versions, as those models use a different canopy design.

➡️ Masking fluid is required in conjunction with the masks for compound curves. All areas requiring masking fluid are highlighted in blue in the product image.

This paint mask set is available in your choice of easy-to-apply Oramask 810 flexible vinyl or genuine Tamiya tape.
What's better - vinyl or Tamiya tape? Both work great! Choose vinyl if you plan to use your masks right away and Tamiya tape if you're tackling your project later on. Check out our FAQ for more info!

I'm so happy with your Do 217k Masks!!
It was very easy to get them off the carrier paper. Adhesion is perfect, no problem to correct position, no lifting. Tamiya Tape ist perfekt!!
It was a pleasure to use them and they went on in one go.

Just finishing up this project, masks worked extremely well (I'm too old to burn up time cutting masks for a typical German bomber like the DO-217). Found the quality excellent, just the right amount of adhesive, quite accurate and for me the tape is far superior to vinyl. Good catch on the turret frame as the part shows no trace of framing.

Hi: not used yet, but kit has been moved up on my to be built list because of it.
I went with this particular mask because I knew I would not be building the kit in the very near future.
The order was shipped quickly, It appears to be very accurate. FYI .. It will also fit their Do 217K-2 & M-1 kits but the tire mask may not fit the larger main wheels which Italeri gives as alternative parts on the Do 217M-1 kit. Looking forward to using it.
