Product Details: Everything You Need to Know

This set includes paint masks to replicate the U.S. Army Air Force (USAAF) fuselage and wing insignia in 1/72 scale. This insignia was typically used on U.S. aircraft during WWII between August 1943 and January 1947.

❗ Note:  This set has been updated to use multi-layered masks to achieve accurate multi-color markings. While this approach uses more material, it simplifies alignment and makes application more straightforward and hassle-free. For a step-by-step guide on how to apply our multi-layered masks, check out our Multi-Color Mask Application Guide.

Each paint mask set is available in your choice of easy-to-apply Oramask 810 flexible vinyl or genuine Tamiya tape.

What's better - vinyl or Tamiya tape? Both work great! Choose vinyl if you plan to use your masks right away and Tamiya tape if you're tackling your project later on. Check out our FAQ for more info!
