I too have just returned to building model aircraft after 58 years. For me mask are a must and I'm glade I found Kit Mask on-line. Their website and customer service are very good indeed. What I really like the fact that they offer many of the mask kits I can't find anywhere else. They even have an option for producing mask kits that are not on their list. What really makes me confident in about the products Kit Mask offers are reviews and accompanying photos showing the results of their use. I will update when I complete my 1/48 scale Academy B-17 D. I am a first time customer and very pleased with their prompt customer service response and delivery. Their costs are very reasonable, even shipping cost to the USA. I have not used the Monogram Vought Kingfisher OS2U, OS2U-2, OS2U-3 1/48 Canopy & Wheel Paint Masks, Kit # 5488 I purchased yet, but the quality of the material and the die cuts are excellent in my opinion They also have a program/option of producing canopies for models you can't find masks for. Check it out on their website. I will be taking advantage of this option in the very near future.

This 1/48 mask set is for national insignia the U.S. used for a short period during 1943 with a red outline. The masks are laser cut on Tamiya paper and include transfer tape which is used to get the mask onto the model. Once on the model I removed the star and bars areas to paint white, replaced those masks, and painted the blue. Lastly, with the white and blue covered, I removed the outline area and painted the red. As you can see from the pictures it came out perfectly! Great product and great customer service! Thanks!

This is a great masking kit! Especially for the rear gunner’s canopy. There are a lot of small curved windows there. This was my first experience with Kit Masx, and it was a great one. Whatever you decide to buy, know that it will be great!

haven't had a chance to use the masks yet but they look real nice and I'm sure they will be fine

In Canada it's winter time but here in Uruguay it's the middle of
summer, the summer is a good time for model building as paints dry a lot faster. The mask set fits the Tamiya kit perfectly and is easy to apply. So one more point for Kit Masx, the quality is excellent and the mask are simple to apply

Kevin and Janelle helped me with getting some bespoke masks made up for me Spitfire that I plan to have in the colour of ML407 (The Grace Spitfire) during her wartime life.

It's a special aircraft to me because not only have I flown in it but it also displayed at my wedding. I felt like painting the insignia would make this build the best it could be and these guys were more than capable and willing to help.

100% recommend to anyone who want either bespoke masks or anything from their catalogue. I'll definitely be using them again.

Had the old Monogram B-36 kit for almost 30 years, it was given to me by a friend who worked at the actual Monogram factory in Morton Grove, IL. Finally decided to put it together a few years ago when I retired. I got fairly far along until I got to the canopies, once I realized I'd have to mask those myself I moved on to other projects. When I discovered and ordered the Kitmask it was a game changer. I've used other masking brands and found this vinyl mask a breeze to use. I've included a picture of the masked B-36 canopies next to another project that used a different material. I can tell you the Kitmask vinyl was amazing. I masked both canopy sections in around an hour and a half. Can't wait to finally finish my project after all these years, thank you.

These are excellent masks. Both the yellow tape and vinyl masks worked perfectly. The masks arrived quickly and intact. They are certainly priced right. Customer service is excellent. I have since purchased additional masks for other builds, confident that they will perform as needed. Thank you.
